This is my Day 8 of the first 90 days of being a Solopreneur.

Developing a Zen approach to life and business.

I am very much against the dictatorship even when the directives come from myself. I hate to-do-lists in general.

In the past I used to write long lists and then rewrite unfinished tasks for the following day. Can you relate to that?

Now I am taking things gently.  I have bought a super nice and quite expensive notebook where I write things that I am going to do during the day.

I approach this in two steps. Step 1 – brainstorming ideas of things that need to be done, I write them in my normal working notebook. Then I value which of the actions need to be done no matter what and I write them down in my pretty notebook. Usually I write no more then 4 items and I don’t start doing anything else before those 4 are finished.

I was really pleased to discover that by 12 pm today the majority of urgent work was done, and I could focus on my ebook.

I was so pleased with myself that I decided to have a quick nap for 10 minutes.

I woke up 3 hours later. I think I was trying to compensate  a lack of sleep from previous months. Despite all of it I’ve managed to do quite a lot.

My point is that there are loads and loads of information how you can be more productive. You need to find your own way that works for you. I’ve never come across advice on getting pretty notebooks. But it works for me, because I spent money on it I make sure that I get the return on it. The same goes for you. Discover what works for you personally!

So today’s instalment of my ebook is on creating a photo quote. Here you can download it How to create a photoquote
