My first 90 days as a Solopreneur – DAY4

This is my Day 4 of the first 90 days of being a Solopreneur.

So how has my working day changed since I become a solopreneur?

First of all, I am blissfully happy that I don’t need to commute daily anymore. The only good part about commuting was that I could read books which now I don’t have time to do it. That’s seems bizarre but I still feel really busy, and I don’t understand how I was able to combine business and day job before.

I’ve changed my morning routine  a little bit – instead of 5 am now I wake up at 6 am. I love to start my mornings slowly. I’ve mentioned before that in the morning I write “Morning Pages“. Then I have my coffee and look either through emails or watch educational videos.  I haven’t started it yet, but I plan to devote at least 90 minutes in the morning to deepen my knowledge about Social Media, it changes so fast.

Part of my services is teaching business owners how to use Social Media to attract potential customers. After running an online course “Facebook Made Easy” in May, I am putting the material into an ebook. Each day I finish at least one chapter which I publish here.

I’ve decided that Fridays will be the days when I work on my current clients’ projects. Let me tell you what I do.

My VIP programme includes bespoke service package that is based on needs of a particular client. During one month I have four 60 minute one-to-one sessions, and clients get full support between the sessions.

What I like the best that it offers me variety, with some of the clients I work on creative part and put together an ebook and email marketing campaign. For some clients I offer “Done for You” services, sometimes even arranging content for their pages.

I have only one client with whom I work on hourly basis due to specifics of services – email marketing campaign with content provided.

Facebook is my favourite, of course, but I know how to generate business from Twitter and Pinterest, and how to interact on LinkedIn.

I have allocated 10 sessions per month when I talk to business owners about their Facebook strategy, during the session:

 
1) we will look at your current situation and what has worked for you, and which of your activities are counterproductive;
 
2) to have a plan that would give you detailed steps you need to take to get the return on your  activities on Facebook or how you can combine it with other Social Media platforms;
 
3) Identify the one simple step you can take immediately to get into action.
Is it something that would be useful for you? Check availability for this month, and if there is a free time slot available book your session. It’s free because it allows me to learn more about your business and you. If I don’t understand your business and it’s something that is outside my interest zone I wouldn’t be able to take you as a client because I need to be passionate about your services to be able to translate it into Social Media activities. You will still get the value from the session.
