How do we stop ourselves from success?

When I look at somebody’s Social Media presence, I can instantly see whether they are “hiding” from potential customers of not. There are different factors:

  • Is it easy to contact them?
  • Is there an option to stay in touch?
  • Is there a Call-to-Action on their posts?

Periscope is a new Social Media platform that has been developing rapidly and has 10 million users in 4 months. As somebody who is used to being visible online Periscope has taken me by surprise.  In terms I was shocked to discover that it takes me outside my comfort zone.

I can shoot a video in less than 3 minutes explaining how to use Facebook or any other Social Media platform but it takes me half an hour preparation to run a live broadcast.

What I’ve noticed was that I am afraid of letting down live viewers. Normal people are desperately trying to get more viewers to the live shows but I prefer people watching my scope on the replay.

Periscope is not another platform for me, it has a therapeutic effect on me. It makes me dig deeper and discover where else I am limiting myself?

Where else I stop myself from succeeding?

This is my question to you – Where do you stop yourself from success?

Every Sunday I run reflective scopes looking back to the previous week.

During the last Sunday scope I invited viewers to join me at #sundaysuccess movement where we set our goals for each day to play BIGGER, reach our GREATNESS and STEP UP!

If you want to join follow me on Twitter @ingadeksne  use hashtag #sundaysuccess

If you are on Periscope find me there and follow me @ingadeksne

Let’s take one day a time!
